Victory Christian Centre (VCC), 445 High Street, Lower Hutt 5010, is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005 (registration number [CHARITY REGISTRATION NUMBER]). We are grateful for your support. These terms apply to all donations made through this website.
1. Donations
All donations are voluntary and are applied to the fund you select. Except where a donation is made in error or charged incorrectly, donations are non-refundable.
2. One-time donations
A one-time donation is charged once to the card you provide at checkout.
3. Recurring donations (fortnightly and monthly)
If you choose a fortnightly or monthly donation, you authorise VCC to charge your nominated card the amount you selected, on that schedule, beginning today and continuing until you cancel. This is a recurring payment authority.
4. Storing your card
To process recurring donations, your card is securely stored ("tokenised") by our payment provider, Windcave, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). VCC never sees or stores your full card number — only a secure token and
limited details (card type, last four digits and expiry) used solely to process the donations you have authorised.
5. Changing or cancelling a recurring donation
You can change or cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us (see Contact below). Cancellations take effect before your next scheduled charge, provided we receive your request a reasonable time beforehand.
6. Failed payments
If a scheduled payment fails (for example, an expired or declined card), we may attempt to process it again and/or contact you. If payment cannot be completed, the recurring donation may be paused or cancelled.
7. Receipts and tax
We will email you a receipt for each donation. Donations to VCC are eligible for a donation tax credit from Inland Revenue. Please keep your receipt for your records.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. We collect and use your information only to process your donations, issue receipts and communicate with you about your giving.
